Welcome To Our Casa
My love for Costa Rica began more than 18 years ago, the moment I set foot on its breathtaking shores. My husband and I planned a simple long weekend, but it turned into one of the most meaningful experiences of our lives. We were married on a beach right out of a dream, surrounded by lush flora, vibrant wildlife, and the warmest people I’d ever met.
It didn’t take long after returning home to start planning our next visit. And then the next. Eventually, we knew we wanted to be more than just visitors—we had to be part of this incredible community. So we bought a quaint yellow house just a short walk from the beach where we exchanged our vows. We called it Casa Amarilla—our home away from home. A place to bring everyone we love to experience the peaceful, joyful rhythm of life Costa Ricans call pura vida.
We’ve since moved on from that little house (though we still call Costa Rica home in many ways), but Casa Amarilla has remained a powerful symbol for us—of simplicity, beauty, and connection. When we embarked on the journey of sharing Costa Rica with others through coffee, the name came naturally: Casa Amarilla Coffee. We hope every sip brings you a little taste of the paradise we love. From our hearts to your cup—welcome to our pura vida.
